Mandela simply said he was grateful, God allowed him to play in role in forgiveness. There can be no future without forgiveness. When Mandela was asked how he managed to survive 27 years in prison without being bitter? He said bitterness only hurts oneself. And if you hate your enemy you give away your heart and mind.
